amiga 1000 no colour!!!

i pulled out my amiga 1000 today to play some classics only to find its no longer outputing colour! whats wrong with it?

Strange, I am guessing you're not using an Amiga monitor from the RGB video port then?

I always thought the composite connector on the A1000 only output monochrome (like on the A500)
