I turned my Amiga 2000 on today and the fan on the power supply spins for a second then stops and does not turn on . I take it this means my power supply is bad . Is it possible to use a PC power supply or should i just look for one on Ebay ?

Thanks

I know Amigakit.com has several PSUs for the Amigas. I would check there first.

Regards

Volt.

I have just checked and you can get it all sorted on Amigakit.com.

Good luck Wink

Just because the fan died doesn't mean the PSU is dead. Just the fan may have died (This is not unusual!).
I would check the PSU first, to make sure it is bad. Time to break out that trusty multimeter....
It might save you a few dollars.
