So we have to post both scores / both courses together, right?

^ My guess is: that is correct. Smile

My first go for a quick demo. Took about an hour. First course was a bit of a mess when I hit the ball deep into trees and lost 8 strokes getting it out. The second round was a bit more like it. Should be a fun round.

Score: +65

I think you'll find that puts me top of the table Smile Highest score wins!, right? Wink

You can play each round separately, post both course scores. Both scores are required to make a valid score.

We made it this way so you could play one round at a time and wouldn't have to commit to 1 hour + session.

It will be refreshing to play the game that I havent ever played instead of game which I finished tens of times over the period of 20 years and have memorized almost every monster. I dont expect big things this time, Ill probably grab a decent place somewhere between 10th and 20th and be happy. Razz

Same here, no idea how I'd even get -1 under par never mind -8! Had another go at the LV course just now, +19 - but pressed fire too quickly and lost the scoreboard. 30mins totally wasted. Don't think I'll be any good at this. Sad

So +45 to +19, a few more rounds you will start to break even.

I played a few games a couple days ago to see how the game works and i was getting around +15.

mihcael, one more question.. Considering you can play both rounds separatly, does this mean you can post your best score on each individual courses although you haven't played them in one session or must be posted 2 rounds played one after the other?
For example, you do great score on one course, so you can leave this one alone and concentrate on doing great score on another and then post those 2 together for the best result?

EDIT: ah, nevermind, I didn't see your post doing just that (posting only one improved course) Smile

@lifeschool, look from the bright side; you have a plenty room to improve Razz

As for me, really excited for this compo round, love the game and it doesn't happens often for playing a game in compo which can relax you while playing like this game. Smile
just a small tip, if anybody doesn't know it yet.. If you hold button for short period of time, a map pops up. This helps a lot on big courses where the straight line to the hole is not the best one because of potential obsticles between.

^ Yes, I can only improve on +65 Laughing Razz I'd CERTAINLY RECOMMEND people make full use of the map Wink

Vegas +2
Walden +13
Score: +15

I was on par in Vegas all the way thru but hit a water hazard at the end and dropped two shots. I was going to say this is the first game I've ever played where not scoring ANY points is an advantage! Shocked Dropped 8 shots in Walden trying to get to an island in the middle of a lake (which put me on +11) and then made lots of mistakes after that. Not too happy so far, but getting better.

Vegas -2
Walden +1
Score -1

Love this game, bit out of practice though. Got triple bogies on Vegas Hole 2 & Walden Hole 1. Think these 2 are the hardest.

No doubt we will be seeing scores between -20 and -30 before the end of this round.

Keep on dreaming pal, Laughing I get very frustrated with this game. VERY! Confused Especially when I go chasing after the ball all over the sodding green. Not much skill involved, often just a matter of pure luck - for better or worse. Just had another go at Walden. +15 by hole 17. Gave up.
