Free movement mode:
Enter FLOATING as a name at the high score screen. Hold [Return] and move the Joystick during game play to move Dizzy around the screen.

Extra lives:
Hold [Left Shift] + S + U + B at the title screen. Exit the sub-game menu that appears to begin game play. Press [F10] to obtain extra lives.
