Kickstart ROM v1.2
Kickstart 1.2 was the first kickstart stored in ROM, previous Kickstart versions required a boot disk.
Kickstart could now identify and use the correct frequencies/screen resolutions for either a PAL (50Hz) or NTSC (60Hz)-based Amiga system, and Workbench adapted to the new higher resolutions.
Revision 33.166 (Commodore, 1986) is used by:
- A1000
Revision 33.180 (Commodore, 1986) is used by:
- A500
- A2000

- Extract the Kickstart ROM from your real Amiga using a tool like TransROM, GrabKick or any other Kickstart ROM grabber!

Amiga ROM copyright
To legally use the Amiga v1.2 ROM image with emulators, you must own the specific Amiga model. Lemon Amiga only provides information about different Amiga kickstart versions, but we do not not offer them for download. Neither do we allow requests of kickstart downloads in our forum!
