Jack Tramiel 1928 - 2012
April 9, 2012
Sad news Lemoners, Jack Tramiel founder of Commodore International passed away yesterday aged 83.

Having founded Commodore in 1953 he would later play a major role in bringing us some of the most memorable (and best) 8-bit micros of the early eighties (not least of which - the C64) and in turn earned his place as a pioneer of home computing as we know it today.

Thanks for the memories!

Thoughts are with his family at this sad time.
