I played this game a long time ago in France, and I tried it an hour ago again to refresh my memories.
It's a platform game with the same style as Blues Brothers, which nearly all games from Titus have. The levels are a lot of bigger though, with plenty of secrets and you can use some gadgets like the jumping map (if you find it).
Titus the Fox was released months after Moktar. The main reason was that Moktar is/was a famous comedian in France and they wanted to adjust it to the world market.
The changes are minor, but interestingly Titus the Fox is less playable than Moktar.
The Sound of Moktar is different and fresher, Moktar says some words from time to time (for example when something hits him). Also the playing figure Moktar is smaller than Titus the Fox so it is easier to control him.
I don't know if also the levels have changed, the graffiti has and also the style of Titus the Fox isn't the same.
If you understand a bit of French, then play the Original game Moktar, it's worth of it. |

Graphics aren't blasting you away, but the levels are huge and with it's own style.

The sound gingles around and you've got also some speech. Not bad - every level has it's own music.

Scrolling is a bit tacky but the rest works very good. High fun factor after some time of playing.

It's a game worth playing, the fun comes after an hour or so of playing.
Try Moktar, and don't play Titus the Fox. It's a lot of less fun... |
