Super Hang-On 1988, Electric Dreams
Looking for a good old classic bike-racing game? Why don't you try Super-Hang On? Still not tempered? Read on and I'll tell you why....

Super Hang-On
Super Hang-On is a coin-up conversion based on the Sega arcade game. Keeping your bike on the road can sometimes be difficult as you can easily crash on signs and other things during your trip. Racing against time, you must pass checkpoints to gain extra time and you do so on until you reach the goal. Your bike also has turbo which can used during the race.

Drive anywhere in the world!
You can choose to drive your bike anywhere in the world, the world has been grouped into four groups and they all have different difficulties:
1. Africa (Easiest)
2. India
3. America
4. Europe (Expert)

The game has nice backgrounds and you can easily find out where in the world you are driving. After you have passed a checkpoint, the background is changing to another country, so it gives the game more variety and makes it even more fun to play.

Conclusion:
Super Hang-On is one of the best bike-racing games you can find on the Amiga. The only thing I miss is a 2-player mode (in Lotus II split-screen style). However, it's a GREAT 1-player game, so it doesn't ruin the fun! I recommend this game along with "Harley Davidson", another great bike-game!

VROOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!!!!!

Review Summary
GRAPHICS: 8 / 10
Great graphics for its time and a lot of different backgrounds depending on which country you drive in.

The road and the backgrounds are nicely detailed when you drive fast.

SOUND: 8 / 10
Awesome opening sound (roaring bike) and very nice music. There are a couple of songs to choose between and you can pick the song you want to hear before you start a race.

PLAYABILITY: 9 / 10
Not too easy, not too hard. The kind of game that want you to come back for more. Very fun and furiously fast when using turbo!

As I said, the only thing I miss with this game is a 2-Player mode.

OVERALL: 8 / 10
GREAT GREAT GRRRREAT! A game you want to play over and over again. A megaclassic!
