Review
Home Alone 1991, Accolade
Here it is: "The family game without the family."
Based on the family movie Home Alone.

Movie:
Kevin McCallister's family has gone on Christmas vacation to France, and they forgot him! He is all alone in the big house. That is when the two clumsy burglars Marv and Harry are planning to rob the house. You must make sure they don't succeed!

Game:
Your mission is to stop the burglars from robbing the house! You do so by making all kinds of traps from a bowling ball to Micro Machine toys. It might be a good idea to spread the traps all over the house so you can be safe anywhere. There are in all 26 traps in the game, and you should try to make good use of all of them.

Both burglars can stand 10 traps each (=20) before they will give up. If you should be unfortunate to walk into one of your own traps, it will be destroyed and you will stand left with one less trap. Beside the 26 traps you also have the tarantula and the bb gun to slow the burglars down.
You should know that you only have an hour to prepare yourself with the traps and if you get caught by one of the burglars, you will lose.

Good luck!

Review Summary
GRAPHICS: 7 / 10
Definitely not the best for it's time, but not bad either.

The makers of the game have been very detailed with many of the rooms in the house. Those who has seen the movie will quickly recognize some of the rooms.

SOUND: 6 / 10
The music is very repetitive, but makes the game more exciting.

The sound effects are nothing to rave about, but they are funny and better then nothing.

PLAYABILITY: 8 / 10
Very entertaining. When you are starting to get it, you will probably complete the game two or three times in a row before you stop playing it.

One thing that bothers me is that when you are good in this game, the game will be too easy.

OVERALL: 8 / 10
I still play it now and then and I think it does justice to the movie.
