Here is Jocky Wilson, the five foot tall, ex coal miner turned Darts World Champion with a darts simulation to test your skill and wits. Doesn't sound like much fun? Oh, how wrong you are!
Select from one of six different game rules, including from football and bowls styled darts games, to the more familiar shanghai, and 501. Test yourself against beer swilling fat blokes down the pub, or try the more challenging and leaner tournament mode, if you are dab hand with the old darts.
During the game, you aim with a rather wobbly (alcoholic shakes?) floating hand and try and plonk your darts in the treble twenty. You watch the dartboard and the bar from a side on angle, as your bloated opponent throws his darts, and you are informed of his score at the bottom. Feel free to enjoy the atmosphere of the pub, see the barmaid, with her permanent grin. See the desperate loner at the bar, staring into his empty pint glass, dreaming of the dreams he never had. One of life's unfortunates. But do not dwell on his plight, there are championships to be won!
Yes, Jocky Wilson's compendium of darts is good fun for a while, but of course can only provide a limited amount of action, although the differing variations of darts games add extra elements to this, making it more than the average darts game. Yes, feel the adrenaline surge through your veins as the M.C calls out for your first "180!", whilst supping a frothy beer, Darts, athletes in their prime! |

Very decent standard for a darts game. Good detail in the pub!

The cries of the M.C of 180!!! Make this music to my ears. Very little else of note though sadly, where's the jukebox in the corner?!

Very easy, everyone knows how to play darts!

| A most pleasing attempt, and well worthy of a little revisiting, even if only to laugh at the darts players comedy beer guts! |
