My first go on goal. It is a tricky game to get to grips with. I tend to just kick and run rather than pass the ball around but will try and master the controls a little more. I hope to score more than 20 points but this go was a steady start.

I've updated the first post about the completion star for Goal! Get a positive goal difference on level 5 and it's yours.

I'm getting into again bit by bit. It's fast paced and feels chaotic to begin with. Kinda like playing Subbuteo pinball or something. Then it starts to make sense. Still having some trouble shooting at the goal effectively, had a few crazy scores off the post. Should probably check the manual.

I didnt realise you could take the boat to the second island. I like how Checker Castle showers you with lives if you know where to look. This third level of Cog Castle is where I got stuck, with no way back to collect any more chests. They really should have checked the level design for these kinds of dead ends.

Yeah, it happened to me too. And I also got stuck between four walls in the mines after the game corrected one of my jump upwards from a moving platform and I found myself between two pillars a floor and an unreachable ceiling.

I Improved my score slightly. 10 Points

My Goal was to reach the fourth match,I did, I'm not sure I'll be able to do better.
I still find it very hard to aim before shooting which is a bit problematic.

Stuff that might help.

Goal! : If you run straight at the 'keeper so you can see the whites of his eyes, And tap fire. Your player will try and shoot into the corner automatically.

When your 'keeper picks the ball up with his hands, If you centre joystick and press fire, He will boot it up the field.

I usually try and defend with my fire button held down, That way, If you end up catching the ball, You'll be ready to pass it straight away. Or if you feel safe enough not to pass, Point your player in the way you want to run, Center stick, Let go of fire, Then move the stick again.

And if you're running in one direction, And tap your stick in the opposite direction, Your player will just bulldozer the ball in the direction he is facing.

Woodys World : 2 Button mode is much easier, (Try ESC on the map screen.) If you're having trouble making Woody stop after jumps, Try dead-sticking before he lands, That seems to work.

This is a solid, but not particularly exciting platformer.

I finished Woody's World. 471,920 pts.

It's was fun.The game is nerve-racking and brutally unfair but overall it's good. There's a lot of things going for it too.

Ruy, It actually gets better when you knock a few stages off. I thought it was garbage on first play, But some of the gimmicks in the later levels are actually fun.
