I love it when the voting throws a random game up. I'm not sure I've seen this game get a vote prior to recently, I sure as hell haven't heard of this game. Although I'm super excited about playing Worms again, I'm sure it will get a play at some point in the comp, and I'm supper intrigued by Wonderboy.

Across the 6 major Amiga magazines this game got an average rating of 56% so it must have aged well!

Across the 6 major Amiga magazines this game got an average rating of 56% so it must have aged well!

It's a good game that's worth way more than that, but back in the day reviewers gave too much importance to pushing technical aspects of the machine, and wonderboy is a humble looking game, even the arcade original. It's a serviceable port, and not as good as the Master System conversion, but there's a very solid arcade adventure underneath.

Also after starting the season with a game from 1996 I don't think it would've been beneficial for the participation to play a game from 1997 next.
Looking forward to this '89 classic.

Some magazines criticized the long loading times... that won't be a problem with the WHDownLoad version.
