Flight Sims I'll take Thunderhawk, Falcon, Gunship 2000 & F-18/A Interceptor. Can't think of any others worth mentioning. Actually managed to finish this one back in the day. Great game.

One of the best simulations from those days - the missions always made me sweat a bit. Fantastic intro.

Yep, this and Gunship were my favorite copter sims. This was a big surprise. I got it on the cheap and didn't expect a whole lot, but it really does deliver with hot action and first rate presentation. The urgency of that dude telling you what you have to do, the films showing certain targets and stuff...great stuff. The mouse control just sort of worked, no joystick required. I remmeber thinking, "I'll never play a sim with a mouse instead of joystick!! Are you crazy!!" but this truly got it right with that visual representation of your control, showing you just what you're doing at a glance. I don't think I was as impressed with any sim until Jane's on the PC.
Core games was nearly up there with Bullfrog and Psygnosis, as a game company I really paid close attention to. And this is why.
Oh, just remembered that wonderful intro. I enjoyed it each and every one of the 200 times I loaded this up.
9/10

Along with F/A-18 Interceptor, this was THE flight sim on the Amiga. Many of the others were a bit fiddly and just didn't 'feel' right. Interceptor had the perfect blend of simplicity and realism, following closely by this classic. Thunderhawk has awesomely realistic weapons and a superb atmosphere. Gotta be 10/10 - no question.

Stunning helicopter sim with fast and detailed polygon graphics and a cool briefing feature. Thumbs up!

I played this non-stop for two weeks until it was complete, then prayed for add-on disks which never arrived.

The great thing about this cool little flight sim is that you didn't need a huge frigging keyboard layout just to work out how to take off. It's very fun, easy to get into but gets a little challenging the further into the game you go. The A500-vanilla graphics did the job fine in their day. Oh, and the nicely done cut scenes really gave the story some meat too.

My mate ribs me mercilessly for liking this game. Probably because it's not really a pure flight sim. More of a hybrid flight sim / shoot-em-up. I don't see how that matters really because this is very enjoyable in it's own right. On top of that it looks great!

This was complex enough to require some concentration, but not too hard and, more importantly, it was very enjoyable from the very first mission to the last one. Good graphics were the icing on the cake for a truly entertaining "light" sim.

Excellent helicopter sim/action game from Core Design. Lots of interesting levels, especially the ones in the snow. Nice memories. Recommended.
