The Atari ST game is identical except for the music. Plays like crap but looks nice. You can see a longplay on YouTube, now.

I have been searching for this game for ages! I had it as a kid and used to get so excited putting it on, only to get stuck within the first minute. Great stuff thanks

While "Tusker" is by no means a great game, it is an above average action-adventure. The game has a certain charm but is too difficult in my opinion - you'll hear the quite beautiful death-music quite often. Play it with cheats or a trainer and it's an enjoyable experience.

I could never see very far into this game after mindlessly walking aound not having a bloody clue what to do (as with the commy 64's!)! It looked ok but gameplay wise it was offputting and a tad stupid.

The graphics aren't too bad on this game, the sound is mediocre, but I found this game very very difficult, as difficult as Shadow Of The Beast 2 and Yolanda.
I'm sure I'll give this another crack one day

I guess the original was on the 64, so that one was better. System 3 was never good with 16 bit systems. Every System 3 game was a legend on the 8 bit while the 16 bit versions sucked heavily!.

Inferno: I'm sure Tusker got started as a superb game but got hit by many budget-cuts, rush-jobs and all-nighters during the development. It feels rushed and disjointed...but still charming.

I've always been a huge fan of System 3, but this is undoubtedly their lowest point. Boring, unresponsive, often unfair and quite unimaginative, this was the exact contrary of System 3's greatest achievement, the wonderful Last Ninja series. A sad, sad miss for one of the coolest softcos ever.
