Great music, smooth scrolling and nice colours, but the gameplain is too plain.

Wow, the first ever coverdisk demo I ever played (well, it was this or BTTF 2) thanks to CU Amiga back in August 1990. Just to be able to PLAY these games - albeit a level or two - blew my mind. I knew the full price games were SO expensive (compared to the Acorn Electron and Spectrum tapes I had been used to buying) and couldn't believe that I could play something for the price of a magazine.

This would have worked better as a pure shooter rather than a plodding and tedious platformer.

The great music in the intro and title screen makes me pumped up to play the game. The design seems to imitate classics by corporations like Taito or Konami. There are two types of levels: platforming and shoot 'em up. The latter ones are a standard afair, while in the former you have a special ability that allows you to walk on the ceilings. I appreciate how the difficulty gradually ramps up over the course of the game. This is a competent product. At the same time, I do agree with previous comments about the levels starting to feel repetitive after a while.

Underrated or misunderstood, the interesting control and movement of the character is part of what makes the game unique.

Nice music, dull game

Nicely done yet unexciting platform game. The horizontal shooter sessions are slightly more interesting, but since they are merely bonus levels that's not much value for money. Or even time, for that matter.

Not played this but just mentioning that the first commercial game to use HAM was Pioneer Plague.

Bleugh. What a dull game. Walk from left to right, shoot "enemies" (really moving targets; the only way for them to hurt you is for you to walk into them, a few infrequent projectile attacks notwithstanding), step on pads with lame effects, repeat until you get trapped by the unidirectional scrolling. Enjoy the bland (and very much non-HAM; I don't know what "DeAdLy_cOoKiE" was talking about) graphics along the way.

Good game. Nice graphics and slow gameplay.

Very good platformer but this game will remain in history for its great intro tune . I think its the best amiga tune ever !! 10/10 just for the music .

Nice graphics and general presentation, and fun for a couple of levels before it dawns on you they're all exactly the same. With no variety at all it gets dull so quickly it's unbearable.

A very nice and effective platformer. Also very original in conception IMO.

Underrated platformer with nice graphics and sound, good level design and accurate controls. (77%)

It had a Gradius style weapon system - but it took forever to get a new weapon and when you finally did the weapons sucked. Fun for a while but ultimately mundane.

Very good and original platformer.

The first time I loaded this one I really was impressed! But after 10-20 levels of the same exact same action I got borred and the thing kept coming on and on and on! Nice ideas ( the fly and bugs theme) don't mean nice games.. Espessialy when they end up to be a mediocre platformer

I liked this one. Nice shooter with cool little elements, even if the turn screen upside down one was infuriating! Nice graphics, nice sfx, nice platformer.

Attractive and smooth platform shooter that eventually becomes dull and repetitive.

Great game. Apart from the sluggish controls a big thumbs up from me. I just love the music in the intro, does anyone know who made it?

I believe this was the first game that used Amiga's 4096 colour HAM mode.

I remember reading a review in a magazine, which said this was a brilliant game. When I later got the chance to play it, I was disappointed to say the least. Okay, technically it looked pretty good, but the action was just to slow and after a while the game became irritating. It's not crap, but just not that good!

Nothing special at all.
Very mundane.
The only insect inspired shoot 'em up worth playing is Apidya.
