I was impressed by the smooth colourful parallax scrolling in this one, especially with the amount of stuff flying around on screen.
The type of graphics not always seen on the Amiga.
But anyway it was a pretty good challenging shooter. 7/10

I see the game is classified here as "Platform" while instead it is an horizontal scrolling shooter. How could we fix?

Died on level 3. "Do you want to continue" -Yes. Back on level 1. Not much good about it, it's cute and devious.

For some reason i had the memory of this been a classic game, but i never got to play it until now... And.... Oh dear. I cant really think of anything in this game to praise... So i will just not say anything more here....

When I read the magazine Amiga Action way back, I got the impression that Video Kid was a very good game. The reviewer was excited to say the least. Later I found out that this was a routine which was played every time when a game which was born in the Gremlin-studio's was reviewed. When I played Video Kid myself I had the complete opposite opinion. It's nothing special, the graphics and sound are mediocre and the playability is crap. The sprite got stuck on the site of the screen while everything happily scrolled along. I hate that in games! So leave this piece of junk well alone!
Graphics: 7/10
Sound: 6/10
Playability: 3/10
Overall: 4/10
