Recently played this on the arcade with the steering wheel and the gas pedal. I had an absolute blast! Badlands was very easy to pick up and play. What a joy it was to race the increasingly difficult tracks! In comparison, the graphics on the Amiga version look like a port from the Atari ST: They are too dark and disappointingly colorless. Steering your car doesn't work nearly as well as in the arcade. The way the CPU cars suddenly speed up after lagging behind is unfair. Not a terrible port, but not a great one either.

I absolutely LOVE this game!... On arcade!!! This conversion is bad The stearing is bad, I'm not sure if it's just me cause I'm used to the weel and pedal on the arcade machine.. BUT the worst is the computer AI! You can have green car strugleing to keep up 3 rounds in a row and then on the fourth it just shoots out like a speeding bullet.. I'll give it 6/10 for the grafics and somewhat playability with friends but as one player this version sucks

It's OK for challenging your friends in, but I'd recommend to go for the Super Cars games or Indy Heat instead.

Average or just above average in every respect. Not as good as many similar Amiga originals, but a good game all the same, and great for fans of the coin-op.

Marvelous game! I was a expert at this. Came really far, got a lot of upgrades. Never wasted money on rockets or shields, mind you
But eventualy, the other cpu controlled cars suddenly developed a warp drive and started light speed racing. It bacame damn near *impossible* to beat them. It drove me f..king crazy

Super Sprint with WEAPONS, and not before time! Great gameplay very attractive AMIGA Conversion, 2 player mode...and a good range of varied levels, loved to be honest the SUPER SPRINT Style of games and the Amiga Version of BADLANDS is one of the best! 84/100 For Mine.

These kinds of games are a winner with me every time. It's been like that since I played Stock Car on C64 in the mid 80's. Badlands are one of my favourites in this genre.

I liked this game, it had some fun elements in it and to be quite honest for the time it came out, it was worthy of a winner. Gfx are nothing to shout about, sound is OK but gameplay is massive

It's kind of weird with Badlands - It's not original and there are better examples of this 'Super Sprint' style - However it's still strangely addictive. Of course, if you are not used to this type of game, the controls will seem weird, but it doesn't take too long to sort it out.
Give it a try and see what you think - You might find yourself being drawn into it...
