Advantages: multinational, ability to control the game using keyboard (at last - no more broken joysticks!), nice graphics, variety of events.

Disadvantages: although there are many events you can only compete in five at one time which is much too few, lack of competing with other human player simultanously (the only exception is skating), you can not save your best times, lack of consequence when it comes to matters of control (different "fire" keys in different events), very poor events of skating and bobsleigh/lude.

All in all, Winter Olympics is a nice game which has some drawbacks but still, you can live with them and have some fun.

Amiga had a good tradition of high quality events games, and this one keeps up the whole thing. The last one, I think, and the most modern with digitized gfx and nice effects.

I like this game. It is a solid sports game with decent graphics and some nice events. Fun to play with friends too.

I actually didn't think it was too bad, the graphics were okay as was the presentation, but 1 or 2 events were hardly playable and the loading times were horrible.

If they approved this, they weren't picky. US Gold seemed to succumb to the temptation to release a bland and old-fashioend set of events to cash in on the license as quickly as possible. Oh, and the manual was barely-literate in places.

Man it seems like forever since I worked on this. It was a pain in arse cos usgold did tend to be piccy with about the official logo's but it didn't turn out too bad at all.
