A 'must have' on Amiga. Fast, playable, fun, varied, nice GFX, wonderful musics, all is here to have good time.

Just a shame that the starfield present in the Megadrive version is missing here, making the background so empty. Difficult to understand as it's a static screen with some little stars and the moon. The moon is animated but it's really nothing difficult, it could have been done with a 8 colours. Even a 4 colour background without the moon and just the stars would have made all the difference.

Nevertheless, nothing less than one of the best Amiga games

In 1993 any platformer on the Amiga should have been quite original in order to be noticeable. Wiz'n'Liz succeeded in this, having a very nice playabilty yet owing very little to the usual platformers stereotypes. Even though something is missing from the presumably original console version, W'n'L it's also technically quite pleasing and, all in all, a classic Amiga game (8/10).

Nice polished platformer with music and SFX simultaneous and nice graphics.

I find the movement slightly too fast for me and the background looks empty. An AGA version with some parallax would have been sweet.

7/10 - One of the better Amiga platformers

Great game, very nice for a change. I like the mini games, the music and the fair difficulty of the game. I guess you will need some time to get bored of it.
Excellent platformer - have a try and have fun !

If you like platformers then you'll like Wiz 'n' Liz. It's an extremely fun game made even better with two players. Wiz 'n'n Liz should be a DLC for the Wii,360 and PS3...it's that good.

Superbly silly platformer that has nothing to it and is incredibly short but goes right off the scale on the fun-o-meter. Zips along at a fair old pace and has loads of little sub-games and secrets hidden away. Charming and addictive, and that's before we get to the two-player mode. Pretty much essential if you're even slightly into platform games.

I've only played the Genesis version, but I absolutely loved it. I see little reason to think that it's much worse on the Amiga. Shame that they didn't use EHB graphics, though; it didn't have to look so grainy, and the starfields from the original version are missing.

Insanely fun! I always find myself slipping about clumsily in this face-paced platformer, and find it very difficult to keep control of the characters, and still enjoy the game immensely. I think that the Megadrive version has better playability, due to the glitches that the Amiga conversion suffers (including your character slowing down for no apparent reason after one boss, and some of the fruit mixing doesn't always give the result it's supposed to give you). However, the Amiga version does have particularly nice music, which is also fast and crazy to suit the action perfectly! The two-player mode is a real treat too.

There are a lot of super fast platform games out there, but it's certainly not too often you come across one with elderly protagonists who can keep up such speed!

Excellent game, only thing i always hated, is the bug, when you your character refused to sprint, after you contested to a boss.
Well controllable (i would have been happier if there is no seperate jump key - if you press up it jumps up, or if down you jump to lower level), exciting, challenging game with much replayability.

That's weird; the graphics look quite a bit better on the Genesis (or, since this game is English, Mega Drive). Maybe it was originally developed for that platform?

Still, nothing detracts from the excellet simplicity and depth of this game. I prefer the Genesis (Mega Drive) version, but this game's a winner on any system.

(hint: mix two bananas to see some familiar Psygnosis characters)

Spell-based mayhem doesn't get any better than this, and it probably never will. A perfect mix between furious gameplay, tactics and comical violence make this the thinking man's arcade experience.

"Far far away, on the planet Pum, wabbits were happy." - the first sentence from this Lunatic´s violence. I played it many times, it was something similar to an extasy. There was an incredibly huge amount of spell variations, mixed from collected fruits and vegetables. A classic for me, too much sleepless nights!
