I have completed all 120 levels of this excellent, formidable brain taxing puzzler on two separate occasions now. Once back in the late 90's and again recently - and totally without cheating at all. Has anyone else out there also managed this awesome feat? I doubt it

Yet an other iteration of the kid with attitude stereotype, this time with a senseless sign of the horns! Well, at least the main character is barely recognisable in game. And most important of all, the game is very playable. X-it is a a well made and well designed puzzler in the vein of Sokoban. It is as addictive as a good puzzler should be. One of the best releases of the 1995, it should have been the real farewell from Psygnosis to the Amiga instead of three games I won't even name (7/10).

This game is not famous but it's great! Very interesting puzzles, good graphics and sound. One of the best Amiga puzzlers.

Great twist on Sokoban with more variety in the game play.
Graphics sound and SFX are all very nice.
The time limits are generous and you can press pause and look around the map to your hearts content.
Much better than Shove-It on the Megadrive.
8/10

Cool Sokoban-clone.

Pleasant puzzler, though I wish there'd been a game manual when I started this thing—I tried to 'pull' the blocks along as you can in some puzzle games; I finally completed levels by just pushing everything into place. A magazine reviewer back in the day praised the game, and criticized the graphics—I thought the graphics and motion were just fine. Nice way to spend an evening whilst watching the telly.

Very good puzzle game. Was this the last Amiga game from Psygnosis - hence the name " X- IT ?

Cool sokoban clone here! The graphics and music are very nice. Also ideas of improving gameplay - different objects, temperature and so on were fun! I only have played first levels - they were very easy, hope that higher levels would be more difficult!

One of the last games to buy for the Amiga.. And it was average in every aspect.. Didn't like it much.

There are a lot of puzzle-games out there for the Amiga. Some are good, some are not good. X-it is one in the first category. I'd never played this one before, so I tried it today. Nice little game with very nice graphics and funny tunes to create the right atmosphere to really rattle your brains! You, as a cool dude, have to go to the x-it of every level, but there are obstacles along the way. By sliding blocks in the right way, these obstacles can be repared. Only sliding blocks to far or in the wrong direction can make it impossible for you to finish the level, so that's where the real thinking comes in! Later on the games becomes more and more complex with other items and foes. Also some sub-games add to the fun! This is a pretty good game and if you like puzzlers, try this! You won't be disappointed!
Graphics: 8/10
Sound: 8/10
Playability: 7/10
Overall: 8/10

I remember me playing a demo which was on the cover disk of "The One". For some reason they had to change the name from "Zonked" to "X-It". I like the soundtrack a lot, and the damn old game idea of Sokoban was nicely executed for this game. Cool!
