The 3.7 score on here is a little unfair.

The game area is small, but no smaller than say Toki, and it runs at an okay framerate.

The intro to this game is well made, the gameplay is solid and not too hard, if only a little dull.

The lame amount of disk swapping is very annoying though. But all in all an okay game, the Amiga has much worse.

When I bought it I really wanted to like this. Left feeling more than disappointed. This should have never been made as a commercial title. 2/10

Paaah ! What kind of drugs used the guys of Electronic Arts when they made 'Zone Warrior' ? What a bad and boring game. It's a shame. What a crap !

Since I never played it, I cannot comment on the poor reputation of this game. However, I must say the music by Barry Leitch is quite good.

Makes fun for about two seconds and then the feeling of wanting to burn this crap on a pyre grows and grows.

I also played just demo from some cover disk. Quite crappy it was, though I was such a gaming maniac that I actually would have wanted to try the full game too.

AHAHA, I played the same demo on the same disc from the same magazine. Yup, you summed it up. This game was pure turd.

How do you define "crap"? Well, maybe "Zone Warrior" may be a good suggestion. I remember playing a demo of this game on an Amiga Action magazine and thinking: 'why have they put time and money into this?' It's today that I played the full version and I see they haven't changed a thing after the demo. Graphically this is very mediocre and why the hell have they made the playing area so small?! This plays boring and it is just irritating. If you want a good platform-shooter take Turrican 2 instead and just leave this!
