Great game. Unbelievable atmosphere and background story. Neil Dodwell and David Dew created astonishing, futuristic universum that could have been continued in many sequels. It didn't happen but we can still enjoy this title. The game is very linear and pretty logical in terms of puzzles. Unfortunately there is no in-game hints so basically if you have no idea what to do, you need try everything on anything.

Interesting game, violent, brutal and a bit pornographic. Good adult story, long gameplay (very short with walkthrough), very unique design and full of original improvements. Moreover, it's very playable and a lot of bloody fun!
The first murder for example, to wait priest to stop fuck, let his whore hide under bed, target that old pig with great dick and decorate the room by his brain!
PS: Only three commands needed: examine, open, use
PPS: One of the best final scenes I've ever seen!

Reading the "Diary of a Madman" in the manual before starting the game is necessary. Otherwise the scenario you're thrown in won't make sense to you. I like how DreamWeb is ambiguous about whether its central protagonist is a delirious serial killer or if he really is communicating with supernatual entities of a netherworld.

Mind-killer cyberpunk adventure with little action game. Plot and mood make this title a long-remembered one. Brilliant in its time

It is worth noting that both Amiga versions have a soundtrack that is completely different from the MS-DOS counterpart (floppy version, that is).
Believe it or not, whereas the Amiga modules are "just" good, the PC soundtrack was really impressive for its time. In fact, it is so good that I believe it to be entirely digitised, otherwise I could not explain the 20 MB hard drive space it takes up, compared to the 3MB+ of the AGA version which is graphically equivalent.

Too linear and short, but it's a great story with excellent atmosphere!
I love the "handwritten" Diary of a Mad Man that came with the game, which helped setting the mood.

An interesting plot taking place within a world based around a rather cliched version of that oh-so late-80s/early-90s sci-fi aesthetic Cyberpunk. This is an involving, detailed and often very dark game with this AGA version having a slight-edge of the OCS game thanks to the richer colours in the graphics. The top-down view works well and the interface isn't over-complicated. There's nothing else quite like this and it's worth playing for that reason alone.

That game was so great. From the stylish titlepic to the tiny yet wonderfully pixelled graphics everything in that game rocked.

Yep it's true, game has one of the best scenerio I ever see and this amazing atmosphere. Gfx are nice but my fav is music in the game. If you never play in this game then this is the right moment fore it

Some may disagree. But it's the game which has best scenario ever! I know Lucas classics etc. But hey, dudes, even my favourite adventure game of all time is Monkey Island, even Monkey didn't managed to put me in a game like Dream Web did. Amazing atmosphere. Did I mention the story?... Two thumbs + feet + hands + arms up

I fell in love with the tiny graphics and the gameplay ever since playing the Amiga Format demo. Great atmosphere - which is incredibly enriched by the enclosed "Diary of a Mad(?)man" - and nice ideas make this game very special. Unfortunately, after the first 2 or 3 phases the story goes downhill, becoming way too easy and fast, leading too quickly to the marvellous ending.

Loved the sinister Cyberpunk feel this game had, most atmospheric. I seem to remember getting pulled into this one and I think I finished it! A simple looking game with bags of character.

I loved this game when it arrived, got well into it and thought it had some nice GFX and engrossing storyline...

I've seen a lot of negative reviews of this game, mostly about how the storyline and puzzles let the game down. I never completed it, except with a walkthru, so I can't comment on that, but I still think it's worth completing (with a walkthru) because the atmosphere this game provides is awesome....it's so lovely and seedy.
