Lovely game. It is a right-to-left side scroller but only scrolls when you actively to move forward, which gives you a sense of exploration and being in control. Technical execution is flawless

Having just played the 1st level I like this one quite a bit. The gravelly style may be low-res to some people's tastes, but in my view these less than perfect graphics have a creative touch--moody even, the way they contrast against a stark black background.
The retro-80's-90's timpani-mixed music sounds a little ironic as compared to the 'organic' graphics style. Controls seem fine--a bit of getting used to, as you are playing against an automatic 'down-gravity' as well as the horizontal moving of backgrounds.

I realy liked this. It's enemy palet and backgrounds realy seem to stand out compared to other, more boring shooters. Also, I like the large amount of weapons in the game, even if they do take some of them away and replace them with something else for no apparent reason at the start of a level.

Alien World is a shooter without anything new to offer. You are an alien like the one designed bij H.R. Giger, only with wings. You have to shoot your way through all sorts of levels, finding power-ups and additional weapons along the way. Graphics are very mediocre and sometimes just weird (medieval castles in an alien world for example). The music on the other hand is pretty good and I must say that also the playability wasn't that bad either. Some aliens are a little predictable in their behaviour, but still, there's enough variation in enemies. To sum up, Alien World isn't a bad shooter, but it isn't really good either.
Graphics: 6/10
Music: 7/10
Playability: 6/10
Overall: 6/10
