Simple and fun platformer with some original and interesting gameplay. The amusement will last longer with a few friends (6/10).

Nothing really special. Very simple, and low framerate

Only played a demo that came on a computer mag back then and I enjoyed it. It's definitely more fun in multiplayer mode and made for that.

I liked this game because although it was mostly just a silly little platformer, it was kinda a cool idea and just simple fun!

A very silly, random and funny platformer with dangerous-yet-exciting-jumpy-bit at the end of each level. So much stuff in it, it is very entertaining and with four players can be a riot. Not so good by yourself, though, and it doesn't take advantage of its enormous party-game potential - it keeps going until everyone has lost their lives and if you're the last player it loses a lot of its appeal, seeing as you have no-one to play against.

Very fun game. The free fall is the best, indeed bloody.

Cool game for 2 players! The flying off the building is a bit tough though. Very cool design of the game overall - menus, animations, effects etc. Worth to try!

This little game is very weird in idea, but funny, with a LOT of secrets and subgames. I enjoy it every time I play it, but is much much better if you are at least two players.

The idea of Base Jumpers is original. Walk to the top of buildings, then jump down. Inside the building there are many obstacles and angry cops which try top stop you from reaching the top. When you do get there and jump down it is a matter of trying to eliminate your opponents while avoiding all kinds of obstacles like flag poles, which can break your fall and kill you. Oh, and don't remember to open your parachute in time!

Base Jumpers is a hectic game. The climbing towards the top part has to be done very fast, because the screen scrolls to the top and you can't fall behind because this will cost you points and eventually lives. This hectic gameplay can be fun, but I like the more easy going platformers. Still, the game has decent sound and graphics. I liked the slightly bloody nature of the game. Try jumping on top of a cop and watch how his eyes pop! The same is true for the base jumping part when someone hits a flagpole or something.

All in all a decent game, which is a bit to hectic to my liking. I haven't tried it in 2p mode, which may ad a bit to the fun.

Overall: 6/10

Really funny to play with a mate. The graphics are not even remotely crappy. They are quite cool actually.

Only really worth it if you had a mate round otherwise I wouldn't bother. Getting up there seemed too much effort as a solo player.

Silly, obscure, but fun in a "why not?" kind of way. Great little multiplayer game especially- and there were a LOT of codes you could collect that'd make things happen.

UNDERPANTS!

Gotta admit I enjoyed this, especially with friends. It wasn't trying to be super quality or anything, just fun. The best part was the actual jump and encouraged some real evil behaviour from the other players. I'd like to see this remade on the PC as a freeware title.

Fun, but ultimately pointless. THis could've been a *lot* better...

Not sure if this was a joke. If it was, it was a really bad one. It was a shame the last commercial years of Amiga as we knew it were riddled with crap games like this. No wonder the rest of us jumped into PC bandwagon.
