Nice graphics, animation and sound but the whole rest is not in any way interesting. There are five levels while only the first one is considerably different from the rest. The game is horrendously difficult. It is hard to figure out whether it is better to shoot them almost indefinite number of times or just jump over them or run through them. The game has almost nothing that will make you play longer than 10 minutes.

While the graphics were pleasing, and the very idea of being able to blow up Davros is incredibly appealing, the game is too maze like at time, with far too many things hurting you at once, and with none of your three standard weapons being capable of harming the daleks, and having to resort to using limited laser and grenade supplies, backtracking into respawning enemies isn't exactly fun. Plus the start of level 1 is overly difficult.

Not life changing in any way but there was a competent platform is you persevered. Enjoyed it for it was.

The Daleks need to be sentenced to anger management
classes.
About the time you start getting used to the controls, the
Daleks come up from behind and start their nagging...
It's exasperating!

I only ever played a demo of this, but I found it pretty average to be honest. I didn't know The Doctor had a gun?! Needless to say, I got pretty bored of this pretty quickly and left it well alone.

A massive disappointment for Doctor Who fans who to this day are still waiting to see the Time Lord appear in a decent game.
Ignoring the fact that the Doctor is a pacifist who uses his wits to solve problems, this was a scrolling platform shooter that had none of the TV show's charm or wit. Controls were unresponsive, graphics and sound only so-so and the difficulty level was absurd, with the Daleks actually invulnerable to your standard weapons and the boss sections being unfair, Zool-style bullet festivals.
Add to that a lack of polish (the cut scenes always show the 7th Doctor and Ace, no matter what characters you are using) and it all adds up to a huge missed oppurtunity. Only even think about buying it if you're a huge fan of the show who has to have all the merchandise available, but even then I wouldn't recommend actually playing it.
3/10

This game isn't that bad if you like your run-around-collect-stuff- shooter-types.
The levels are quite varied, if sometimes easy to get lost on. There's plenty of dalek-types to look at if you're into your Doctor Who.... And rarely in a game do you get as much pleasure as you will having "EX-TER-MIN-ATE!!" screamed at you.
Two-player (as usual) adds a lot to the game. Dont expect the best platformer ever, but there's still enough fun top be had from this one.
Play as Pat Troughton and the UNIT soldier for added (but pointless) variety!

Poor use of a good license with interesting ideas wasted by poor gameplay. Interestingly, the Daleks in this game seem to have the bronze livery that their TV counterparts eventually had in the 2005 series.

Average game that got better after a terrible first level. The choice of 3 Doctors and a 2 player mode with choice of assistant was great though. Wonder if there will ever be a really good Dr Who game. There is potential...

Being a Doctor Who fan, I looked forward to being able to play this game, but besides from the introduction, I was disapointed with it...
