Stop kidding, Fire & Forget II is a nice game, with solid code, good musics and SFX. It's fast with this time enough visibility and time to see monsters and obstacles before it's too late. I suppose that it's from this engine that the fabulous Crazy Cars 3 (and Lamborghini Challenge) emerged.
Clearly what's lacking here is that it isn't really true with its promises in terms of gameplay. Visuals shows a flying car that let hope a real news for the first game. And yes, the car can fly... But to do what? Eventually you can jump above some obstacles and shoot aircrafts but we quickly see that this part of the gameplay has not been developed as it should have been. In Xenon, that offers the same deal, there are enemy patterns with on the ground waves and others in the air, clearly identifiable. This gives to the player the ability to develop his skill, learning how to play as a ground vehicule or as a plane. That's not the case here. Everything seems to happen in bulk. Fire And Forget 2 thus keeps a little of the defect of its predecessor, namely an impression of undergoing the assaults of enemies as you there are no identified areas to run as car and others to shoot as hell in spacecraft mode. Frustration therefore ends up once again taking precedence over satisfaction.
Fire And Forget 2 remains a very good game with lot of action, romping at will, particularly if you got unlimited lives and play it in 60Hz

Super smooth and fast action with a good soundtrack but gets boring after a couple of levels.
