Not a good conversion of a great Arcade game. Could be alot better, better play the C64 version, or, offcourse, the real thing in MAME.

Average conversion with repetitive gameplay. If I remember well, the levels would loop endlessly...

Pretty dire... The ST's was the same (no surprise there!). The Amiga could have handled the arcade gfx no probs but a lazy port destroys an otherwise enjoyable arcade game.

Unfortunately another code porting directly by the Atari ST.
The game in itself is not bad but if I think to what it could have been using the Amiga at its full power...shame to Firebird!
The original arcade was one of my all time favs shooter and this conversion has lost most of the wonderful playability and rocking soundtrack of its ancestor.

What a missed opportunity this conversion was. I'm pretty sure the Amiga could have coped with an almost perfect conversion of the Arcade original, instead we get a slightly above average arcade shooter. Shame it wasn't done by Ocean, as their conversions of the time were all pretty much spot on. (Except for Operation Wolf!). Still worth a couple of plays though!
