In comparison to the first part, this one is much, much better. The game wins over the precursor with more convenient puzzles, lack of arcade parts and better logic in dealing with things. Although the game still uses the same AGI engine, the parser is much improved and graphics and sound are nicer. A good adventure game.

The second in the King's Quest series, and also the second game to use Sierra's AGI system.

An excellent sequel to KQ1 and it keeps up the very family friendly fairy tale themes of the first game. Unfortunately it also keeps the horrid PCjr style graphics.

A solid sequel and fun to play, quite similar to KQ 1. The third installment is where the adventure really begins!
