This is a very below average game. Loading times and disk swapping are tremendous - typical HD game only. But is it worth being installed? AGA version can be tried but ECS version looks like a stripped down edition with cut down of some important elements (or maybe it was unfinished?) which leaves the player completely unaware of the real point of the game. If we focus on AGA version only we can see a racer game with a crappy engine. There is only one game mode - time trial. There are no opponents on the track, there is no 2 player option. You just go through several number of different tracks during different weather conditions. Between them you must repair and refuel your car as well as make a decision which tyres you will use (like it really mattered during the game). Oh, and there is also a co-driver selection. Probably, the more you pay the level of hints during the race he gives you will be better. Probably.
This game is full of bugs, some graphics glitches and inconsistency. Below average.

Its a good attempt at a classic arcade style game, but unfortunatly its really hard as everyone mentioned. I think they should have dropped all the co driver and other options, and gone straight for pure arcade style, with the corner arrows always showing and a mini map... Could have made it a classic then! Still like it though for what it is.

The game includes HD installation in the disk 7.(booting disk 7 in DF0)
The game is really impressive like an arcade machine but gameplay doesn't exist, when you see a bend already you have hit it even at very little speed
A little circuit map in a corner would have helped much!

While the patchers work on a whdload AGA version, you can play Rally Champ ECS (cracked by Prodigy) version on WinUAE. Here is how :
"Insert" the 4 floppies, load a decent configuration (A1200) and accelerate floppy disc loading. The discs will swap automatically.
By the way, 'RC is a good looking rally game, with isometric view and car customization features. Just make sure you grab the controls before driving full speed.

Seriously lacked in playability, but it looked quite nice in places. There are plenty of other racing games that are better.

The game was so and so...

Great game! Great arcade feeling in this one. Too bad that the CD32 versions never was released, the demo was quite promising.

Given their track record, I think Flair had an in-house competition who could make the most unplayable game. In my books, this is the winner. But for all the wrong reasons. You had to keep the car exactly on the road. Otherwise you were quite literally stuck. But keeping the car on the road wasn't easy, thanks to absolutely horridly unresponsive controls. I won't even mention the graphics...

Yeah, it was OK but not special and could have been better in places, especially for a game done in 1994! This is however very similar to another game, maybe Flair just copied the idea.
