A decent port of the MS-DOS game with some features stripped down to accomodate dated Amiga hardware: Loading from floppy disk takes a long time. While we got to see an animation of a Terminator squad fighting Genestealers in the PC intro, there are only a couple of still images on the Amiga. Speech was also removed entirely due to the limited storage space of the Amiga's 880 kB floppy disks.

This should have been ported to AGA only. Porting it to OCS/ECS only resulted many missing features from PC version, pale graphics and it's a little sluggish too which is a shame. Nevertheless, it's still a great game.

There is unbelievable atmosphere in this game. Although it is very difficult but still very addictive. It is an excellent game but a designer or a programmer should be shot for the lack of strife option and immense loading times. There is also a problem with the mundane set of actions. There are too many things that needs to be done all over again using exactly the same method.

Very hard, and required a good sense of when to move cautiously and when to make a dash. Sounds are sparse during missions but the music in the menu's is amazing, and the game drips with atmosphere

Absolutely fabulous. Tense and atmospheric. One of the best and most user friendly Amiga games ever. You need brains and brawn to succeed in this little beauty - 9/10

Well, this game came out during my Amiga-to-PC transition. I ended up playing the demo of the Amiga version endlessly, then shamefully I bought the PC version (and it's pretty decent Windows sequel). A really really entertaining concept. Often the game scared me quite a bit as I'm waiting for something to jump out. I quite liked the PC version. I believe the Amiga one was just as good. The Alien movies were definitely the inspiration and they nailed it pretty good.

If you're frusted, keep trying...I was frustrated a bit too on the demo but soon got the hang of it and when I got the full game I had no problems at all (well, except for getting the stupid PC sound to work). I don't know if this game has aged or not...I'll have to find out. I'm sure there is no way I can get either PC game going but this should emulate just fine and I can (shamelessly again) finally play the Amiga full version.

Game was too hard/frustrating for me, but i liked playing extra missions just for fun. Very creepy/spooky. Bueatiful sound - for example screams of killed terminators...

I found this a fun and addictive game but damn hard at the same time. Maybe that's how it is meant to be?? I didn't like the fact you could jump in and try any of the missions instead of earning it. The music and graphics compliment the game well but it is a little slow and clunky at times. It has special appeal for Games Workshop fans!

Great, great game with an even greater background (Games Workshop's Warhammer 40.000 and its spin-offs, that is). Awkward and terribly slow at times, but so addictive and atmospheric that it was nearly impossible to put it down. Die, damn Genestealers, die!
