A very fascinating game. The gameplay is pretty good, but very difficult to master (at least I thought so). The graphics and introduction sequence are of high quality, which makes the game even more enjoyable.
When I first played this game I was expecting it to be not so different to the Lemmings series. But actually, it is quite a bit different, although if you are a fan of the Lemmings games then I highly recommend this game. It's likely to appeal to Lemmings fans, and it's good because it isn't a rip-off or anything. Quite an original game, and nice level design too.

Good gfx, excellent sound... Out of the schemes game that's worth a try. Nice intro.

This game doesn't deserve a console port, it could fit on a floppy! Except for the intro, of course, WHICH SUCKS!
Besides, the gameplay is indeed quite boring with the pad and it's quite repetitive anyway. Still enjoyable, but definitely not in my top ten.

Very frustrating to play it with the gamepad. Has some interesting features and the GFX has some atmosphere but not for long.

I can hardly understand all those rhapsodising about this game. The idea is very original and innovative but unfortunately (IMHO) Millennium guys spoiled it. The game can be easily finished without all these things like drills, elevators, carts and tracks. They are simply not needed and having them is only because you may want to see them in action (and it is a bit faster to finish the leve)l. Another flaw are enemy diggers' teams. They are no obstacle for you. They rather run away from you than attack. It is also very easy to block their actions. What seems strange because as AI this is what they should be doing to the player. Each level takes about an hour to finish. During that you may easily get bored watching those guys digging, waiting for them to find diamonds and trying to sell the trinkets as soon as possible, just to get to another level. No competition, no challenge - simply to easy. The game is non-linear but... Funny thing is that you don't need to go through the whole map to see the ending. The game is great in the matter of GFX and music (sound effects could have been better). Unfortunately the rest is rather average.

I remember playing this on my CD32 when it came out and got quite addicted to it as well

I loved playing this game on my CD32. I never owned an AGA machine before the CD32 (Only A500´s) so I was flabbergasted by the colours and of course the great CD soundtracks that came with the game. I spent countless nights mining the different areas, collecting rubies and the like, while avoiding the other miners. Odd game with odd controls, but somehow still quite addictive in gameplay.
