The English version of Crash Garrett is bugged to death. Did anyone ever even borther play-testing it before the release? There's no way to complete it as it is. I only managed to complete it by playing the French version (with a walkthrough as I don't know the language) to the very end and then copying the save game to the English version to see if the game has even been finished. This worked, but that's the only way to see the ending in English.
As for the game itself, but parser is terrible and you need to know exactly the right commands to type, but something in the 30s comic style and atmosphere kept me coming back to this game over and over again.

Quite a good adventure game, in a setting I love (indy-like exotic adventures with evil Nazis - as opposed to the good ones of course), and an excellent comic-book interface. Quite mature, too. That is, we get more info on Crash Garrett's sexual life than on Rick Dangerous'. For instance, did you know he never wears his helmet off ?
Now you do.
