If you liked games like "Parallax" on the C64, you will like this too. I found this very motivating and fun to play. By far the best game Titus ever released imho

Simple and effective shooter with ok visuals and a super smooth and fast multidirectionnal scrolling.

What the game lacks in originality it makes up with fast paced action and good fun.

Its main flaws are the repetitive aspect of each level and the low difficulty. Battlestorm can easily be completed and doesn't offer much for replayability.

Battlestorm highlights Blastar's main flaw in the multi-scrolling sections: The former controls so much better. While turning in Blastar is always awkward, in Battlestorm it feels fluid and reponsive. This makes dodging projectiles and chasing enemies easier, which in turn makes the game more fun. A useful lesson on how tweaks in basic control mechanics can greatly improve a game.

Nothing special. So so graphics and gameplay. I am surprised by the high ratings of some magazines.

Very good shooter. Fast and with a high hook factor.
The result is a good mixture between Uridium and DesertStrike.. And I find it with much potential than those two.

Small loading times , straight gameplay .. This concept could have been elonged in many ways. Great Stuff.

Much better than Amnios, Blastar.. And more playable and accesible than Awesome.

Battlestorm is a nice shooter with multidirectional scrolling. I recommend giving it a try at least once.

A good shoot'em up . The multi scrolling aspect was fun and a good idea, i remember i liked the gameplay and the rythm of the game.
