All is said in the comments bellow... Bad controls, ugly graphics, low variety of backgrounds but cool motor sounds. Bad game.

I had forgotten about this title, and for good reason to! Not one of the amigas brightest moments in racing games... Steer clear!

Nah... Not a good racer. "Nigel Mansell World Championship" is so much better than this one. OK it may have been released in 1988, but games such as Grand Prix Circuit (released only one year later!!) were much better in my opinion. This one is poor, all the tracks look the same (only the background and the curves change) and the control is bad.

It seems that the designers of this game just decided to finish their job without paying any attention for quality of the product. BASTARDS!!! Well, I actually played this still some times as a kid anyway. The thing I hated most was that your own car collided with enemy cars but enemies still kept going like nothing had happened!

Oh dear, oh dear... This is an awful game. Graphics are... Well, just look at the screenshots. Detail is non-existent; the car is blocky (why?!) and the track is just laughable. Once in a while (every minute or so) a side-object passes which is a bit of distraction from the awful experience you're undergoing. The gameplay is very bad as well, your car steers very sluggish and when one of your tires moves an inch onto the dirt your expensive formula one car will make pirouettes like a professional ice-skater... Oh my! BUT.. There's actually one positive thing to mention about this game. It's the engine sound. It sounds very heavy and raw... Shame about everything else about this game. People, if you've got any sense you will leave this game well alone.

Sound: 6/10
Playability: 3/10

Overall: 3/10

This must be one of the worst Grand Prix titles out there for the Amiga. However, it has one single thing that does make it stand out somewhat, in a weird kinda way: The sound of the car's engine. It's as if you're sitting in a jetfighter gone mad! Turn up the stereo before you start this game and you'll know what I mean...
