It was surprising that Ocean didn't get the licence for this. I wish they had though as even they would've made a better job of it....

I'm shocked! Somebody was able to pass the first screen. Waste of time; back then and even now!

ARGGHH! Frustrating, dull, annoying and above all... Rubbish. I actually thought there was a problem with the sprite collision in this game as anyone you seemed to hit never flinched! Gfx were pretty dire too for 1993! Awful, just awful.

Very poor. After the fun and easy flowing first Batman movie related game, this one falls flat. Especially considering how good the SNES and other Batman Returns games are. This one really just isn't fun at any point. The graphics are fine as is the music but the game play is awful. Everything looks small and tiny and the controls are annoying at many moments. Unknown why Konami couldn't have taken more of an active role in this but they didn't and well this is what you get. There are many ways to enjoy Batman in a video game, this isn't one of them. Too bad.

The first Batman game, "Batman The Movie" was great. The same can not be said about this second one. The gameplay is much to simple to make this a classic like the first Batman game. Going from screen to screen while kicking clown-like foes doesn't give the game much depth. Although the graphics are good and the music is fine, also the controls are a bit unresponsive and awkward. Especially jumping from platform to platform is sometimes frustrating when your Batman figure starts to run over the edge instead of jumping to the next platform. All in all a disappointing sequel unfortunately.

Graphics: 7/10
Sound: 6/10
Playability: 5/10

Overall: 6/10

Konami's SNES game rocked. This looks a bit cack. Still, if you get to smack around some clowns...
