I think that this is an average platformer game, and it gave me hours of entertainment and fun (and sometimes wrecked out my nerves ha, ha! Really!).

May be true that somebody says about the black backgrounds and the difficulty of this game. May be true that the repetitive levels thing.

BUT if someone has bothered anytime to read the game credits, just after loading, they can notice that the people who made this game are very, very young! The O'Flaherty brothers, graphic artists were only 15 and 17! The coder 22 and the musician 23! They are, specially the artists, almost kids! Only for that reason is worth to give it an opportunity and be a bit understanding.

At these age, most people ain't capable even to jerk off properly!

I would say this is like a first beta release for beginner programmers. Which is awesome but I would call it a leaked pre-alpha version. The emptiness of the levels are devastating. I happened to run into a trained version where you had infinite life + collision off option. You think it helped? Fall into a pit and couldn't get out in 3 min. Someone who is dead bored this might be fun. I reward 1/10.

One of these looking-like-nothing games one could have easily lost his heart to.

Unbelievably annoying game. A simple collision and you are dead and the game is not generous in number of lives. The game for very patient players who are determined enough to remember each level obstacles.

Ah, this takes me back to college when I played video games instead of going out to meet women, lol.

Loved the music and the graphics which were simple, but very effective. The game was like a much harder version of Pitfall II, but still fun.

This one has a real nostalgic feel to it. I feel like I've got a lot of childhood memories with it, even though the truth is that I only just played it for my very first time. I think it must be because the music reminds me of Lemmings.

The graphics, if incredibly simplistic, are somehow fitting to the gameplay. The protagonists are pretty cute - don't think I've ever seen a chimp in earmuffs before this! And even though it's cheaply done, it sometimes makes me laugh when the character loses a life and just pauses for a second, then drops off the screen.

Very difficult game with large levels. And somehow, charmingly simplistic!

I was a little kid when I bought this game, fooled by the comic-like cover. Apart from the title screen, the graphics are very poor. The collision detection is bad, pixel perfect jumps, punches and moves are needed. The music only starts playing after you find the according item. You also can get stuck if you choose to open the wrong doors and have to start the whole game again.

This game gave me that elusive feeling of exploring the totally unknown. The only other games I got this feeling from were Morrowind and some dodgy NES RPG that I don't remember the name of. A good (if incredibly hard) platformer.

I love Aunt Arctic Adventure. There, I said it. When I first saw AAA down at the shops I was reminded of one of my favourite C64 games (Montezuma's Revenge) which was enough for me to buy it. It's a cookie cutter platformer with reasonably good graphics and sounds. Be forewarned though, it's way harder than it looks. The game frustrated me because the truth is that even though I love platform games, I'm rubbish at them. I kept coming back though and I still enjoy playing it from time to time. Maybe it's because I live in Canada and snow is in my blood or maybe it's because it's impossible not to like a game with monkeys and penguins. I don't know. I gave it a 7 and if you like exploration-type platformers, you should give it a chance.

Best thing on this Mindware game is the songs you listen every level. Could be diferent or not it is very cool. I recomend music from level 2.

Repetitive gameplay, ugly graphics, too large and too difficult in gameplay.... All ingredients for a game on which one loses interest. But nope, I kept playing it over and over.... Good memories this one
