This game plays exactly like Targhan! The controls suck big time, animation is very slow; oh and good luck finishing the game without any walkthrough. It's impossible.

It is difficult to add anything new to what was already written below by other reviewers. Great graphics, great atmosphere and great concept. Unfortunately wacky and unresponsive controls resulted in a rather weak game. Not even difficult one but unbelievably irritating.

!!! Please keep in mind: this game is totally frustrating. !!!
Apart from that it's not far away from being brilliant. Back in the days it's without doubt on par with some cinemaware titles out there if not better in some cases. Today this might be some sort of FarCry ... France Edition ... Sidescrolling type of game with many different adventures to approach ... IF you could get the hang of it that is. But that's as always, isn't it (Just in case you haven't mentioned before)?
Besides you could spend quite a good time staying in secure areas while visiting colorado just enjoying the pretty handdrawn landscapes as they unfold in front of you ... It solely depends on you. And there are more games in this series available that arose from out of the french Amiga scene.

Great action/adventure game I like it too

A brilliant game idea does not make a good game. Man, this could have been so much better. Absolutely no game play at all, I'll find yourself getting so frustrated that you want to scalp the programmers here. Now can I get that Scarlett Johanssen massage to get rid of the memory of this game?

Agreed. A great concept bogged down by rather poor execution. I kept dying countless, silly deaths because of the frustratingly bad and unresponsive controls, which make it unnecessarily hard to play.

Nice action-adventure which could be much better if the controls weren't so darn bad. (62%)

There are some games you remember well and some you don't. This was special, had good GFX (at least I thought so), and had a great adventure feel over it.
Remember being very impressed over the river levels. Good idea with a remake.

Agreed with Trantor - the concept was nice, and there was an enjoyable wilderness atmosphere and sense of exploration in the game. The poor animation and controls drag the game down, which is a shame.

Another great concept for a game... Too bad the execution was so weak. The sheer scope of actions, and diversity of the levels in this game promises many hours of fun and discovery. Too bad the jerky movement, stiff animation and poor controls turn it all into a snooze fest. Now this is a game that is just begging to be remade.
