Spot on conversion of the CD32 game with everything in here (minus the neat intro of course) but a bit awkward using a joystick and having to lunge at the keyboard to fire missiles - more noticeably the standard missiles where you have to be right behind another car to use it successfully.
Better with a CD32 joypad or some other joypad. But still a good exciting game 8/10

One of the best Vision games. Fast paced with good graphics and sound. The weaponry is a great addition placing letting you see this overhead racing game from a completely different perspective. You are not only willing to win but also to anihilate the opponents. The only drawback is the lack of two-player mode option. Apart from that, it is a great game.

I got this for my CD32 back in the day and have the A1200 version now. I can't think of many games so improved by the quality of the sound (on both systems). This is another top town racer which has (i) no diagonal stretches of track because all the corners are 90 degrees, so you are always driving horizontally and vertically, and (ii) no 2 player mode. That should make it pretty average. But, in addition to the weaponry, the evil commentator is superb right from the start ("Showtime", "Take his life" ) and the way the music and sound builds as you approach the jackpot (by killing enough rivals without getting killed yourself) ("Get the jackpot" ) is one of the best examples of heart-pounding tension in a game, ultimately rewarded with some superb music and sound if you manage it. The jackpot system generally gives it an extra pinball style appeal, trying to accumulate the super-scores but always at risk of being put back to square one.

Technically good. Mediocre at gameplay: no 2 players mode, cars don't drift.

Technically excellent, but it's never good to see just 143 cm ahead of car. Maybe in split screen, but it's not a case of RoadKill. Wasted potential....

Very addictive, great atmosphere, definitely in my AGA favorites.

I wonder if Roadkill had a fleshed-out backstory that was removed before release. Notice how you never really get to see the announcer, just his black silhouette in front of a giant stack of television sets? If you manage to complete the whole game, you finally learn his name: Lucifer.
This game takes places in the mythological Antichrist's very own game show and his aim is to get you to murder as many people as possible before you die a violent death yourself. "Kill, kill, kill" is literally the first direction you get in the game, and sometimes during the races, Lucifer whispers "Take his life!". Don't get me even started about the way you get showered with cheers, wild guitar solos and millions of credits for each race car you blast to smithereens.
The six available participants themselves show various stages of dehumanisation: While Inferno's stare is merely hostile, Slam's eyes are completely lifeless, and Demolition's face is a creepy skull mask. The game's cover even shows Cannon's car with the mark "666" bursting through thick metal plates behind which lies what looks like the burning pits of hell.
It's either that... Or the designers just ran with what looked cool.

I'm sorry, I just don't get into this game. I love all racers, and i have a soft spot for top down racers... But for some reason, not this one. Graphically pleasing, polished game.. But I just can't get into it. Sigh...

The differences between cars are little, but important. I think every player will find the most suitable machine for him (for me it is the Demolition). The game is fast and unbelievably catchy. I used to be addicted and now, after many years, I tried to play it and am addicted again

Loved this game. Good to see it with a high score. I haven't seen anything comparable since. To Bippy, I don't see how anyone could hate gravy... Maybe you're thinking of Marmite? They used that slogan in their tv ads.

One of my most played games on CD32, also a must have on A1200, great game!

Not your typical overhead racer, this one. There's a lot of emphasis on the weapons and generally blowing cars up which adds a lot to the game. It's a lot of fun and the courses are well designed, as well as the graphics and the presentation in general. It's not quite a classic however, thanks to a total lack of a two-player mode, no high-score saving and only 12 tracks, which all help to dent the game's lifespan somewhat but regardless of all this it's still very enjoyable.

The atmosphere of this is fantastic and the playability is just right!
I guess this is like Bisto.. You either love it or hate it!

It looks nice but it's not actually that much fun to play. It's far too easy to go slamming into the sides of the track and there's no real sensation of racing so much as desperately trying to stop a car smacking into the walls.

This what Last duel from Capcom must have been converted.
Roadkill reminds me a lot of this game.... But brighter, faster, smoother
than his old ST lame port.......

Awesome racing game! Perhaps not the most original, but taking the basic concept to technical perfection. Really one of the best looking racer games as well. You can tell a lot of craftsmanship went into it, and it still holds up to this day.

The rendered intro for this game was pretty good for the time. Roadkill doesn't play like a normal racing game. It's more like a very twisted version of a shoot 'em up with futuristic cars, high-speed collisions, and spike traps. Throw in sampled guitar solos and speech announcements like in Mortal Kombat, and you're set for one hell of a ride.

This was and still is a great game. Presented with wonderful graphics and sound, it was very addictive but because of its speed, required some good concentration to keep the car under control. One of the best top-down racers on the Amiga.

Fast, addictive, challenging & loads of atmosphere into. You will be hooked in seconds and will go for the SUPER JACKPOT (Kill as cars as you can). One of the best AGA games (and Amiga too
