Game looks and sounds, worse than it would have been on the c64.

Anyone, who thinks Sierra only transferred the EGA graphics "as-is" to the Amiga side, is wrong.

I have done a comparison of King's Quest IV: Perils of Rosella, and some other game graphics, and I noticed BIG differences in every background. The background pictures at least have been "re-arranged" to suit the Amiga, losing the "PC-feel" (which was often adorable) most of the time.

I am not sure, which version looks better, but do yourself a favor and compare the Amiga and DOS-versions of these Sierra adventures side by side, and see for yourself. They didn't just lazily transfer the graphics, they edited them quite a lot.

HOWEVER, I am not sure how much that applies to these very early AGI games that have this lower resolution (160x200?), that looks like the C64 multicolor res. But at least the games with slightly higher EGA resolution (320x200 or so) feature these edits.

This is a relatively good adventure game. Of course it is not difficult mostly by its simplified interface where you don't have to type anything. You just do actions by pressing assigned keys. This is something between typing adventure style of Sierra and their point'n click system. As the game it brings memories and is quite enjoyable. I wish, similar to Space Quest, King's Quest and Larry 1 it also had been revisited. It would have looked stunning...

I so love Sierra's adventure games, whether it's the earlier typing interface or the later cursor interface. This game has a special place because it was one of the first Sierra games that I played as a kid. However, I STILL don't know how you get into that mysterious room number 69 (where you're falling down somekind of a... Tunnel or something)! I liked fooling around in Sierra's AGI games and trying out new rooms by TP'ing.

One must bear in mind that this is a "kids" game - and I mean 5 year olds and upwards.. Text input and storyline is simplistic - the GFX colourful but a few scenes aren't drawn at all well and give the impression that it was created in a rush. But like I said a kids game which they are still likely to enjoy.. Unless you've been feeding them console material. All this considered 6/10

Realtiviely strong game conversion of the Disney movie. Marred only by Sierra's typically poor Amiga conversions, that simply ported the EGA graphics one to one over to the system.
