Cool little shooter, very playable and the graphics are great too. I enjoyed it very much

Looks and sounds great. Plays beautifully. Ruined yet again by poor game design and insane amiga game difficulty. Such a shame. Its more annoying when amiga games come close to something great rather than being complete pants. Unfortunately this is one of those games that was almost great. Lots on the Amiga.

Nice shooter. Bit difficult but enjoyable to play. Nice graphics and smooth gameplay.

Very challenging but fun. Controls feel just right.

Excellent horizontal shooter with impeccable controls. Smooth scrolling even with a starfield behind it. It plays really well. 8/10 there are some difficult spots, with a more polished difficulty grade it could have been one of the best horizontal shooters on the Amiga.

Echoing what others have said. It gets too hard after the first level. Especially losing all your power ups (which you really need!) after a death is a major downer.

Great graphics, music, presentation and gameplay make this a good Amiga shooter. But just too too hard for most of us.

6/10.

Nice graphics, cool sounds. A good shooter but you should play a trained shooter: It's a hard game !

Eurotrash at its worst. Enemies take too many shots to kill, homing missiles follow you to the ends of the earth, enemies blend into the background, enemies suddenly rush you from behind and below whilst the screen is filled with bullets (which are often purposefully there to push you back towards the oncoming foes) etc.

Could've been good, programmers did a respectable job for the time (though its not a graphically impressive game by any means, at least it looks decent, moves smoothly, and had sfx + music in-game), its a damn shame that the designers clearly had absolutely no idea what they were doing (most of the biggest issues look like they were added on purpose)

Bleh. Near-plagiaristically rips off of Gradius, but lacks the polish and excellent design of that classic, in addition to being stupidly difficult. It also has its fair share of bugs.

Looks really nice, first level is ok. Then on the second level it becomes unplayably too hard.

I think this is one that probably grows on some people--nice graphics, reasonable controls--but for me Ziriax doesn't have the satisfying qualities that Menace has. Still, it's ok--better that some I've seen; just not as good as X or Z 'out'.
As of this date, the qualitative score is 6.5, and that's about what I'd give it--not bad.
