Blasteroids is a classic arcade shooter that is still fun to play today. In comparison, the Amiga port is downgrade in every way.

Most importantly, the port doesn't control quite as well as the arcade. Maneuverability is critical when you are surrounded by asteroids and enemies. The controls on the Amiga just don't feel as fluid and this greatly affects the experience.

The second major difference between the arcade and the Amiga is the music: The situation-specific background tracks of the arcade were replaced by a 30-second loop of the Mukor boss theme that plays on every screen on the Amiga, regardless of the current game status. This makes a huge difference in how the game feels.

Lastly, the graphics on the Amiga have less colors and a lower resolution. This lower resolution again affects the gameplay: The playfield is now smaller, meaning you have less time to react to incoming objects.

A basic asteroids clone but with world progression system and bosses.
The controls seem very jerky and sound is below average which becoming annoying after some playtime. Later clones are better.

Idea old, but gold. Game could be more fun but not happen. Gfx medium, sound terrible, game play fun for 5 min top.

So slow and jerky compared to other games of the same genre, I say it's one of that lazy and bland conversions that plagued our favorite computer platform

A nice asteroids remake. It has some strategy involved with the selection of the worlds making it interesting (i.e.: choose the worlds that give energy when you need it). I like the music although it's too short (so it becomes annoyingly repetitive), sound fx are only functional, graphics are not something from the other world. Gameplay wise It's fun for a while, it has little to offer in the long term though... Good game for Asteroids fans

The simple remake of Asteroids... Was pleasing enough but it was just Asteroids!

I like the game idea quite much and it is well enough done, but I still did not bother to play this many times.

I find this game a bit boring for me, not such like other shoot 'em up games, the music is awful but the sounds are good.

A decent coin-op conversion. However, it haven't aged very well, unfortunately. Looks pretty dull compared to Stardust and/or Super Stardust but Blasteroids is much older game too, ofcourse.
