It's hard to believe this is a Psygnosis release. First of all, graphics are badly drawn and ugly and music is more or less obnoxious. On the other hand, the pseudo-mode 7 does not really impress anyone but it's still quite nice. But is a fact that Bob's Bad Day works pretty well as far as playability is concerned plus it has very nice game design touches, like passwords for every single level. The concept is not original but also unexplored on the Amiga. It's just an arcade type game but it does its job pretty well (7/10).

Awesome game idea, but It will drive you crazy!

I found my head going from side to side whilst playing this! It really did make my brain hurt but it was compelling fun to get Bob to his destination. Didn't look great or sound brilliant but gameplay was enough!

Nice and original. The rotation and transparency effects are amazing, even if the framerate is a little on the choppy side (although, considering that the Amiga didn't have hardware support for those effects, it could have been much, much worse).
As for the actual gameplay, it's basically a clone of the arcade/SNES game Cameltry, but simpler - or, alternatively, a clone of the original Sonic the Hedgehog's bonus levels, but more complex. It isn't perfect, given that the fundamentally imprecise nature of the controls can get very frustrating, but it's a sound implementation of the concept, and it works rather well overall.

Bob must have had a rather naff day if he managed to, er, misplace his body. Just as well though, as this is a very cool little puzzler, where you rotate the screen and, helped (or hindered) by the forces of gravity, you have to collect all the coins and find the exit. Rather colourful, well presented, addictive (if perhaps a little nauseating if you play this after an alcohol-related over-indulgence)... This is well worth tracking down. And one of the tunes that plays during the game sounds like it should be the intro music to the News At Ten on ITV, I swear. I keep expecting Trevor McDonald to turn up...

Great game, and very original! Finishing all the 100 levels took a lot of time and effort but it was worth it.

Remember this game with nice memories, remember at the time all this mode 7 stuff on the snes was trying to be replicated on the Amiga and Megadrive and this was one of the best attempts with a decent game bolted on!

Bob's Bad Day rocks. A little hard to control the whole labyrinth sequence, but with some hours of fun, you even won't notice it...

A decent puzzle game from Psygnosis and quite addictive, standard GFX and sound so don't expect nowt special apart from playing it again and again

Brilliant little puzzle games from Psygnosis. Can you say "Super Monkey Ball 2D?"

Wacky and pleasing for those who like the puzzle-maze genre, and infuriating, aggravating, and stupid for those who only dip into puzzle-maze games casually. I'd imagine that both sets of players are right about this game.

Great attempt at a Cameltry clone, this puts in the mix a lot of its own ideas and, surprisingly enough (fiddling with a well-tested formula is often the wrong choice), they all work. Very enjoyable, yep.

A really clever puzzle game. Viewed from above, the idea is that you're rotating the screen in order to guide Bob (and later his head) through the levels, collecting all the coins and reaching the exit. There are all manner of power-up tokens available - gravity alterations, bouncy or heavy ball modes, a thrust ability, limitations on control responses, and so on. The levels have a great variety in layout, style, colour scheme and backing music, and the whole thing should quickly become addictive. Not many people know it well, but those who do tend to love it.
