Fairly enhanced version of this classic, controls are perfect and audio tracks are nice to hear (9/10).

Soccer Kid is a wonderful game with nice graphics and musics, solid gameplay and well thought level design (secret rooms, soccer cards to find, some huge maps...). Its only flaw is that it does not really renew during game, so after some hours you can have a slight feeling of boredom. But the intelligent use of the soccer ball is a really nice twist.
Some advices to really enjoy the game : Don't forget the balls are unlimited. You lost or "pop" one ? Just press fire during 2 seconds and a new one appear. You will only get less bonus points at the end of a couple of levels if you pop more soccer balls than the number indicated at the beginnning. So don't be afraid and let's go ! Try to beat the birds with soccer ball from a distant point rather than going to direct confrontation. Finally, don't forget to collect all the soccer cards to enter bonus level and try to get a piece of world cup in each country if you want to confront the final boss and see the real ending

One of my favorites on my CD32 console. This platformer is just too dang cool, great graphics, sound and the cartoon intro and ending are just fantastic. A must for any1 who has never played it.

I bought the floppy version. Loved it, of course. If I can find it for cheap I might upgrade to the CD32 version sometime.
It would be great if that intro were poster here...hint hint.

Ok I have to admit. I picked up a CD32 on Ebay a yr ago (always wanted one) and have started collecting as many games as I can find and this is one of my favourites. Steep learning curve? To a point, just read the manual and practice moves for a while and they come easily. Love the intro and graphics are fun, overall great game

Steep learning curve but ingenious game idea. Quite rewarding once you got the hang of controlling the ball. This should be in the Top100 of Lemon Amiga.

What a fun game, kicking a ball about in your quest to rescue the world cup, nice GFX and sound, nice intro on the AGA version
