Trex Warrior is a very good game that few people seem to talk about. It combines smooth 3D graphics with excellent pixel art. You participate in a sport of futuristic arena combat, fending off attacks by battle droids of various types. Over the course of the game, you travel to other solar systems with their own distinctive arenas. Between match days you can upgrade your hovercraft.

Fantastic game, played it for many many hours. And free on a magazine cover disk to boot.

Loved this game back in the day. Pity it's not better known because it's one of the best games on the Amiga for me

Guys, we got this in the UK on a cover disk and it was more fun than a lot of full price titles. I'd like to see a similar version on PC, but there's a lotta love gone into making this game. Who'd turn Battlezone into a modern game, huh?
A great fun game, once you've gotten into it (9)

This came free in the UK? Wow! We paid around 70DM (=23GBP) back then...Nevertheless, thrilling gameplay, good controls and very nice vector graphics. (78%)

I think this was released commercially in Germany, but only on a coverdisk in England. A shame, as it's a decent 3D shoot 'em up with some nice polygon graphics.

This was great. Nice fast 3D and simple-but-fun blasting gameplay. It came free with an issue of The One, but is actually better that the majority of commercial software around at the time. Great stuff, only really missing a two player deathmatch option. 8/10.

Surprisingly, this game came free on a coverdisk. Battle against droids in a futuristic arena. Great game, very addictive.
