Not as awful as some of the comments make out. It's no Sensi, but it's a bit of a laugh (and it isn't too difficult to score). Easier and smoother than European Championship 1992 anyway.

Does look to me like a game that could greatly benefit from adding a Supra28 besides the thrusty 500. I don't think it will run with a real accellerator though.

Loved the original coin-op! I poured quite a few coins into it! When this came out for the Amiga I just had to have it. Despite a big initial let down (with the jerky graphics, the awful zooming and - especially - the completely different playability compared to the coin-op), I started to enjoy this game somewhat. I got to laugh at the clumsiness of the referee, got to score epic goals, got do smile quite a bit while playing it... It isn't the coin-op, but as an Amiga game per se this isn't half-bad. Quite a reasonable way of spending a rainy Sunday, especially with a few pals around.

The coin op is a lot of fun, even for people who dont like football. Like me! So, I decided to give the Amiga version a go. But, alas, even though the screenshots sort of resemble the arcade. The game scrolls at about 10fps. Meaning its very frustrating to play (strange how no previous review has mentioned this). And the scaling effect have been done very badly too. Y is it so jerky? I dont know.. The graphics are simple enough for smooth play thats for sure.
2/10

Atari ST straight port for the win !!!! They even didn't touch the graphics !!!
isn't it incredible ? So few colors when this game could have been in 32 colors.

A conversion of an arcade soccer game on a machine that have titles like Kick Off e Sensible soccer haven't much sense, but during the 90's I have played it a lot. Short but funny.

Haha, I remember playing this one. With the fat ref that could be tackled!

I guess I must be in the minority here but I enjoy playing this, OK so graphically it is not a patch on the arcade version and its not a game you will be playing for hours on end but its good for a quick blast now and again. 7/10
