I argree with Kodoichi, played this a lot and had fun with it, reminds me on Super wonderboy because of the shops, it has a lot of levels but never get trough the game.

Don't get fooled by the poor graphics, there's actually quite a huge world to explore and it's more of an action-adventure than just a platformer.
