Extremely poor game. Quite difficult due to too many factors that have impact on the player. Handling is tough and does not make things easier. I wonder how publisher figured out that this game would be suitable for children who probably were irritated by all the things this game has to offer...

I tried really hard not to scream at Popeye--it wasn't his fault; cartoonishness aside, I found this one every bit as tricky and challenging as any other platformer.

Embarrassing to look back at now, but at the time I was pretty chuffed with the sprites I did for Popeye 2. Not bad for a budget game.
