Whenever I read the name "Michael Bittner", I hear to chorus of Jochen Hippel's "Bittner Rap". Dedicated to his colleagues at Thalion, the song was released on Hippel's album "Give it a Try" in 1990.

Very boring, imo games should be enjoyable and fun. One for the die hard realism fans.

Extremely realistic game but in the long-term it is so much mundane... It gives you next to no fun out of the play unless you enjoy flying for hours without anything particullary interesting going on around you. If you are insomniac and you have seen and played everything and for some reasons your machine needs to be on 24/7, play this game. Ascend to the skies and have the longest hours of your life in front of the monitor doing nothing but still something

Surprisingly popular game considering how boring it is hehe! I know and understand the appeal, but seriously... There was one plane, blue sky and brown ground... And thats about it. I enjoy flight sims, but i didnt enjoy this.

Superb simulator. The programmers put a big effort to a realistic thing in the game.

The best of this game is the 2nd title screen. That's all.

Didn't this game come with real (or what seemed like real) flight route charts across Europe ? This was a complicated game, and even though I now play MS Flight Sim and enjoy it, at the time I couldnt get into this, no matter how hard I tried.

I had a poster that came with this game on my bedroom door for years, but sadly that was as 'into the game' as I got. I did try to play it but I think I was too young at the time to accurately work out how much fuel I needed to fly down the U.S. East Coast!

Actionless civil flight sim. A bit boring in the long run.

On an A500 it was slooooooooooow. Picked up a little on the 1200. Nothing really to write home about on this, it was good for its time, but its no MS Flight Simulator.
I managed to crash more often than not.
Still, at least the engines sounded good.

This was really realistic. Really cool. But I have to have a bit more action now and then, so I don't play this that often.

By Selecta's logic, apples are crap because they don't taste like oranges.

Considering the way it sold when originally released, a lot more people wanted to play a technically perfect flight simulation than you'd think. This deserves serious respect as perhaps the most realistic thing ever released for the Amiga.

Extreeeeeemly realistic, but only of interest for people who actually want to learn how to use an airplane *technically*. This game offers absolutely no fun for arcaders.
There was so much scientific stuff delivered with this game that the box weights more then 1 kilo or so.
