Lemmings was very popular game at the time. Infinity took its blue and green protagonists and put them in gameplay styled after the well-known arcade game Operation Thunderbolt. If you got frustrated trying to rescue the lemmings, you could now play Operation Lemming instead, a game that rewards you for killing a large number of them.
