It's the original, and nothing special. Sometimes, that's all you need

Another proof that there's no real need to add bells & whistles or "upgrade" the gfx & sound to 16 bits area (with usually disastrous results), just get the game's mechanism right and you're set on the right path.

Very good, if hard, free game.

This is more like the old 1980's NES's TV consoles

I seem to remember Bignonia releasing, or promising to release, Amiga clones of the Atarisoft library of arcade ports to the C64 (Donkey Kong, Pac-Man, Dig Dug, etc.). I don't think they released too many. From browsing this site, it looks like they also released other original games that had this same squat, C64-ish, arcadey port kind of feel.
I did play this particular release on my Amiga, and I remember thinking it felt very much like the C64 Atarisoft version - a good thing. I was a sucker for those C64 arcade ports.

This unofficial conversion, which is based on the C64 version, can be downloaded from Aminet [www]
It says "Press F11 for two player game", but there is no F11 key on the Amiga... I suspect that this is an in-game joke?
